Blackpool: Player ratings

Flinders 8: Kept us in it with a few very good and brave saves. Commands the defence well, and seems very confident.

Mayo 6: Up against it in first half with a tricky winger, but stuck to the task. Needs to provide some attacking options on occasion.

El Abd 6.5: Gets stuck in as always, looked a bit lost in midfield after the substitution.

Butters 7: For once he did not win everything in the air, but positional play very good.

Lynch 7.5: Improving with every game, plenty of saving tackles.

Cox 7: The only creative player for us on the park, but tends to tie himself in knots at times.

Bertin 7: Patrols in front of the back four very well, does not venture over the half way line too often.

Hammond 6: Harsh to mark him down a bit as wide left is clearly not where he belongs, but often appeared in strange places on the park leaving the left exposed.

Robinson 5.5: Looks out of place behind the strikers, and struggled to make an impression when went up front.

Revell 5: Another quiet game, chased a lot, and wasted our best chance by snatching at a shot from about 8 yards out.

Savage 6: Holds ball up well, one good run in the second half but otherwise fighting for scraps.

Subs:

Elder 5: Not on for long, did nothing I can remember

O'Caerhill 5: Not a right back, not sure why Wilkins plays him there.

Just nice to have a decent keeper back in goal. Would like to keep him for the rest of the season.

Palace signed him for £1million a couple of years ago, can't see them letting him slip away, especially with the tracksuited clown they have in nets this season.

Where did they sign him from?

Barnsley. He was born and grew up in Rotherham.

I knew the answer! Though I think they might let him stay for the rest of the season
