Black - Help!!

Im stuck on the the mission after the bridge and need help as to what to do in a certain area.

For anyone who hasnt got the game, this will make no sense, so no point reading on.

But ppl who have, if ur on the mission after the bridge one, im stuck on the part when u down down the tunnel and come out in an open area. Theres a brigde above u and two guard towers either side. Me and my dad have tried everything, but the bad guys just keep on coming.. Do we hold em off until the women says so or go somewhere.?

Thats if ur wanting to do the intel and Black Ops diffuculty, im on easy so its not needed.
