Hob Nobs waltzed to the top spot of Group B with Bourbons making 2nd place their own...

who do you fancy for group c?

1. Ginger Nut
2. Custard Cream
3. Maryland Chocolate Chip Cookies
4. Iced Gems

The mavericks group. Custard cream is always a steady performer, as is Ginger Nut although they're a bit of a love'em or hate 'em outfit. Maryland represent the cookie contingent in Biscuit 2004 and for the first time ever in a major tournament...Iced Gems. Surely the neutral's favourite?

I'm a cookie monster on this one. Custard creams are the biscuit of hell.

It's a poor group, to be honest, and I'm not convinced Iced Gems are strictly biscuits, although they're definitely superior to the other pretenders of this group. I see them as the South Korea, could go a long way and shock some people

just cos ided gems are small doesn't make them not biscuits

ginger nuts and custard creams are getting humiliated here a la france and argentina in another tournament, the name of which i forget

Maryland will always win this group, in fact I reckon they must be favourites for the whole tournament.

As they are safely through, I have used my vote strategically to help my second team, Gingernuts, to get through.

personally i love the absorbent qualities of maryland cookies. one swift movement of a complete dunk then straight into the mouth....pure dunking magic

The ginger nut is great.
Have you ever wondered why there are never many new types of biscuits invented? Its very hard, if you give it too many extra layers it becomes a cake so where does the biscuit world go from here?

tomorrow sees the final group stage, and my god what a group! Can a tournament have two Groups of Death? This one has...

1. Fruit Shortcakes
2. All Butter
3. Fox's Butter Crinkle Crunch
4. Abbey Crunch

who's your money on?

It's the excessive proportion of 'ice' to biscuit that worries me ... but mine is not to question why, merely to vote them onwards to the q/f

lol, that is brilliant. can't believe custard creams didn't win though

anyway, this group has been thrilling but ginger nuts, after a slow start have come from behind to just pip custard creams and iced gems to the post

they don't come much closer than that brian
