Does anybody know where cars can park for this game? Never been to St. Andrews before, so not sure what the situation is like.

Don't want to park on the streets outside the ground as have heard stories of tyres being swiped..!

Thanks in advance for any info! :albion2:

I parked in a street by the ground, the car was fine. There are matchday car parks sign posted as you approach the ground as well.

I parked at the ground last time .... Wasn't much and got out fairly quickly.... However is a nightmare getting away from the area after I got out the car park

To park at the ground, do you have to book - or is it just a case of first come first served?

don't park on the Morrison's car park opposite - can take up to 90minutes to get out.
Industrial estate on Garrison Lane on the left as you come up from the ringroad is a 2 minute walk away but offers a quicker exit after the game than stadium parking. or nearby streets- costs a fiver I think

Probably safer to use an official car park even if it costs a bit more as the ground isn't in the nicest area of the city.

nearest I would considwr parking on road is Cherrywood Rd B9 (access via Bordesley Green Rd or Fordrough Rd). Anywhere closer you risk getting caught in match traffic. Its a 10 minute walk but from there you can get out to the south/M42 quickly and easily

To the north/down from the ground you can park off Garrison Lane and exit via the ringroad east to the M6 - anywhere off Coventry Rd or to the west is gridlock country post match.

If you can get onto Centurion Park industrial estate off Garrison Lane you can get out south or east reasonably easily.

Not a pretty areaas stated but I feel safer parking there than around Villa Park - certainly I have never had an issue with vehicle or personal security
