Birdwatchers - what is this?

Just been sat in my garden for the last ten minutes. Some kind of bird of prey which probably explains the pigeon feathers all over the garden the other day.

I'm no expert, no really I'm not, but I'm pretty sure that it's a Bald Eagle.

Which is more than he did. But he did twist it about 340 degrees. Impressive.

Are you sure it's not Corylus avellana "Contorta" (Corkscrew Hazel)?
