I recorded the early-hours repeat, having missed the original showing. It seemed from the stream of negative comment on this thread that maybe it was so outstandingly bad as to be unmissable!

I've now watched it a couple of times. I think - at the risk of being flamed - that they captured very well exactly what they were aiming to convey, the motivation, both highs and lows, of playing for, working for, and being a fan of, 'your' club.

The match itself was just an example, not the central purpose, wasn't it?
