Yeah we did think it was a pheasant, looks the most likely on google images. Left a few nuts and seeds out for it as it looked rather gaunt and scruffy. Probably an easy meal for a Fox unfortunately. The squirrel in the tree above was going mental as well.

Is it actually injured? If so, could be a trossard.I'm in Camp Pheasant, although it does look like it's seen the thick end of a 12 bore which has skimmed it's arse.
