The only way toget match fit is to play matches so I would have thought 20 mins against a defensive side like Luton would have done him good.

You can see it so why cant our manager, If he aint good enought to play 20 minute's against Luton then what was the point of signing him?

why did birchall not play against luton? is he not match fit or injured? it seemed a bit odd that micky brought on doug loft as sub instead of birchall.

He isn't 100% match fit, because Coventry don't have a reserve team. So it is going to take him probably five matches to even get match fit.

Would Tuesday night not have been a good opportunity to start the road to fitness then? He started on Saturday against Leeds, why not start him against Luton instead of playing with two defensive midfielders?

Indeed, especially considering we had a training match on Monday as well. He'd already played about 240 minutes in a week. I would be very surprised if he doesn't start tomorrow.
