why did birchall not play against luton? is he not match fit or injured? it seemed a bit odd that micky brought on doug loft as sub instead of birchall.

I don't think he is fit. Certainly not fit enough for 2 games in 4 days anyway. I'd imagine will start on sat though

Probably just lack of match fitness. He played for the stiffs vs Gillingham last night.

How come he is lack of match fitness, yet Tommy Fraser turned up for the game in a huge plastic cast round his ankle and still played? McLeod was knackered after 35minutes.

He must have thought what has he done especially with a bumbling centre back playing in his position and a very terrible Cox also playing

If he's not match fit, then wouldn't one way of making him match fit, be having him play matches?

Just a thought.

Right here, right now
So Livermore was match fit and Birchall wasn't?

I do wonder why we have signed a player with only 102 minutes to his name in the past year.

Because Adams likes signing midfielders to sit in the bench, He's been doing it all season so you should be used to it by now.
