Don’t mean to put a dampener on this little story but surely we haven’t got hope in bloody hell of signing him?

Does anyone actually believe he will sign?

I'd like to him to sign (obviously) and I think he has the talent to score hatfuls in Division Three, but realistically I can't see it happening.

I'd love to see it, and perhaps if we had a buyer lined up for Murray then we'd have a slab of cash to put towards a deal. But I'd be quite surprised if he dropped back down to our level. It would be a major COUP for us, and I remain hopeful, but I doubt it'll happen.

Have voted no.
Would love it to happen but can't see it myself - I reckon there is a 10% chance this will happen.

We need to attract the best quality players we can afford.
If we can afford him we should go for Billy Sharp. We may not get him but if we just assume that he would never come to us then we certainly will not get him.
If we can not afford him then the story should never have been fed to the Argus. The days of spin should be over, RS is better than that.

Cant see it. Then again he really needs to kick start his career, although it will probably be another Champ side.

At the end of the day it all comes down to money (wages and fee) and if he has ambitions whether we match his.

Looks like a bit of an Alf Tupper (Tough of the Track) to me, I doubt he'd even consider moving down south

Would love to see someone like him at the club. We have a good squad, assuming the new players prove their worth, but he would be sort of the cherry on top.

I hear he would prefer a season long loan but that Sheffield United don't want that.

I would personally love it if he signed so for that reason I am going to come across all optimistic and say YES he will.

But he probably won't...
