Any others NSC'ers there last night, or going tonight?

If last night is anything to go by, those going tonight will not be disappointed. It was the first time I'd seen him live despite having so many DVDs and CDs of his, and I must admit part of me wondered whether it might be a bit of a let-down.

Thankfully, I was proven entirely wrong. He was bloody brilliant for the whole two and a bit hours, and on the basis of that I'd certainly go and see him again.

I was a little dissapointed thought he started well but didnt keep up the pace and ended with a good but old joke. The performance really ebbed and flowed Think it was really down to the high expectation I had. For all those going tonight still worth going but I think there will be better performances during the comedy festival.

Saw Billy Connolly about 20 million years ago. He wasn't particularly funny then.

Going to see Rich Hall tonight though

I am a fan, but last night was the first time I've seen him live. Had a great night and left with aching sides from laughing - "fuller than a fat bird's shoe!"
