You have a point but I'm not sure you quite read the room. I never think about him either. It isn't about letting go. It is simply amusing to see him suffering, and perfectly reasonable to post a thread on it. I never think about Gary Glitter or Boris Johnson, but I will certainly do a little shimmy when they get their come-uppance. You'd need to have a heart of stone to not laugh at that
Religion teaches not to hate though? Our country has laws based on Christianity which preaches not to hate. Isn’t not to hate actually one of the 10 commandments?. It’s bizarre how many people associate themselves as religious but excuse their faith when it comes to enjoying football. This is the only time I wished I believed in religion.
You can’t separate cancer from other services, certainly not surgically as there are so many co-dependent specialisms that are required during procedures. For cancer alone or all services?
So do I.I strongly suspect you’ll be in a minority here.
I think the majority of British laws are based on the same rules as the majority of the main religionsL

PS I’m not religious by the way. Omnism is what I would say I respect.
I didn’t want to get people’s hopes up!Quite looking forward to this thread title being amended. Can't be too long.
Oh, I know they had no interest in a new ground. The point I was making was that a move was discussed way before they came on the scene. It would have happened anyway. The club didn’t die. Ultimately it has thrived. Archer etc are now an irrelevance. More important is that my support for the club is not defined by that period. It’s through the football.I’m glad for you, that you can forgive.
Archer and his accomplices were never interested in moving the club, they wanted to kill it, I don’t believe for a second that they had any intention whatsoever, in the club getting a new stadium funded by the sale of the Goldstone site. The money from the sale was only ever going into the pockets of those 3 crooks. Thankfully, their ultimate aim was thwarted.
Their greed was obscene then, and Archers tax dodging is obscene now.
A truly hateful human being.
I don't buy that. The Goldstone could easily have been redeveloped and/or improved . . . . .IF the club had decided, under good management, it wanted to move it would hae been in a much better position to barter with the council with some prime residential real estate to trade. There is a case for suggesting it was Archers asset stripping that meant we eventually got Falmer.
Not ever going to change my opinion of him, Stanley (Spit) and their monkey. I am not a vindictive person but for them I’ll make an exception, two down, one to go.
That's utter tripe. IMHO. He didn't do us a favour in any way shape or form. He screwed us as badly as anyone could. In hindsight archer actually did us a favour, no archer , goldstone isn’t sold, no homeless Albion , no campaign for a new ground, no planning permission, no Amex, and maybe no Tony bloom (As chairman).
we could have be languishing in the lower leagues with a decrepit stadium.
Archer is still a **** though. He must be ancient now. Not long for this earth.
If it wasn't for him Brighton might still be playing at the Goldstone with a capacity of 17,000
Sometimes things turn out for the best, even if it didn't seem that way at the time.
All meant to be in the end. Withdean was our most successful spell in our history trophy wise. The Amex has seen us reach the highest position in our history, and Gillingham is the story we tell to show how far we’ve come. Would we be this big had it not been for all those dark days the club proudly battled through? Our proud history wouldn’t exist had it not been for a Cluster B person disorder running our football club back in the 90’s.I don't buy that. The Goldstone could easily have been redeveloped and/or improved . . . . .IF the club had decided, under good management, it wanted to move it would hae been in a much better position to barter with the council with some prime residential real estate to trade.
ALl without haveing to go to Withdean, or worse still wasting half a Saturday driving to and fro f***ing Gillingham!
For the main Sussex hospital to be based at Pease Pottage, would be madness. You can’t separate cancer from other services, certainly not surgically as there are so many co-dependent specialisms that are required during procedures.
You could have LINACS (raditherapy), but you need bunkers, and more importantly staff to run them. It simply isn’t cost effective to pull staff out of main hospitals to run isolated services.
It's bizarre how many people associate themselves as religious but show no forgiveness and sometimes no love to friend or family and offer no help for charity unless their church going mates are looking. Sorry, I speak as I find. Good religious people also available.L

Tongue in cheek reference to eternal damnation in hell.L

The land was worth £23.86m, with £5.7m of debts. That's utter tripe. IMHO. He didn't do us a favour in any way shape or form. He screwed us as badly as anyone could.
