Biggest points difference

Just quickly looking at a football stats site and it seems that the biggest gap between first and second in league 2 is 14 points could this be another record to go this season. Have only checked Div 2 I wonder what the biggest ever gap is .

Didn't Reading go up from the championship with a record points total (106?) and were about 16 points ahead of 2nd
I think someone on here said that Wigan hold the record in league one at 14 points
