Concrete? I remember the old Valley (with its capacity of 75,000) being the largest collection of wooden railway sleepers I'd ever seen.Stadiums like Charlton, Chelsea, Man City, Old Trafford, Sunderland ..... were vast concrete bowls, cheaply done, with one or two stands if you were lucky.
We had a few of those at Posh for old times sake a couple of months back.
