With over 26K at the Amex yesterday, only one other over 20k and the rest trailing almost 10k behind it asks a few questions when it comes to ffp over the course of the season. Whilst former prem teams have massive parachute payments we should be a good position to compete against the rest. Not only are our gates twice as many as other teams we also pay considerably more for our season and match day tickets than the other clubs. If we do not adhere to ffp this season there must be many other clubs falling foul too or we are being badly run. Whilst I trust Paul Barber there does seem to be many strange decisions being made at the moment. Looking around yesterday there were a lot of people wearing last years shirts, half as many eating pies in WSU and queues half the size for beer etc. At one point a cheer went up when the girl on the fosters bottled beer stand sold a bottle at £3.80 because she hadn't sold one for over half an hour. Has the bubble burst. Have the club got their sums wrong, bleading the supporters dry at every opportunity. A lot of people sitting around me have stopped buying programmes. Would love to see the figures at the end of August compared to last year and the opening year at the Amex. Think they would not be good reading.

Of course its Brighton. Throughout our history we have normally had the biggest support for the division we are playing in (even at Withdean when the capacity was in the first couple of seasons only 6000 sell outs). The only division where its not the case is the top flight.

We simply do not know which teams will make the FFP limits.

Some are taking it seriously like us - some appear to be ignoring it, although these teams may also sell big before the window slams shut - or be relying on selling in January - to balance the books.

I can see this happening. Keep a good team until jan then sell if your missing ffp

FFP will not last.
Its a bloody stupid idea and it will die.
Many clubs are already ignoring it and the chairmen will force the powers that be to back track very quickly.

Why would they do that, when the chairmen almost unanimously voted for it?
