Wouldn't want it soft and there is heavy rain forecast for tomorrow and further rain on Saturday. Two poorest runs on G/S and heavy. May as well take a shorter price on Saturday if the ground is good or faster. I can see Dream Ahead showing closer to the 2yo form back in trip and if it turns soft side. Good luck anyway.

I live 5 miles from newmarket and judging by my back garden, as of now I would reckon the going is good (my back garden is prob good/firm). it would take a heck of a lot of rain for it to turn soft over the next couple of days. a fair bit of rain today, but we've been so dry since march that it's having no real effect.

Newmarket 5.20 Friday, the horse is Dragonfly. Came straight from the "majors" connection, should "tower" above the rest of the field and the trainer reckons there's no "Faulting" him...Good luck everyone !!

Times yesterday suggested it was good, that would be no problem to Delegator. There was 5.5mm yesterday which changed the official going from G/F to good. All I am saying is that personally I would prefer to wait and see for a horse that is ground dependent, HQ has good drainage of course but our climate is unpredictable at the best of times (as are our clerks of courses and their predilection towards the watering can....)

Munch, I think this was a wind up. There was no "Dragonfly" in fact there hasn't been a "Dragonfly" for a couple of years when a nag by that name raced in Germany. What was your old user name? You've mentioned previous winning tips but I can't find them, were you danwa08?
