It's part of the nurturing process for part artificial turf with the plastic roots planted in! It needs to be relaid during the toddler years of the AMEX before the grass to grow naturally rather than man-made

It is a bit of a shocker. Why tear up a perfectly good pitch? OK it needs TLC after a long hard season, but surely it would be more beneficial to feed, rest and nurture grass that is already established, than rip up the old and then reseed the whole area and wait for it to establish itself. With FFP in mind it must be cheaper too?

It has to be relaid , there was a cross contamination issue after the final game.
