I thought the original plan was to do 10 series and then finish it off with all the winners in one house. That might have been a rumour rather than a fact though. Plus C4 are unlikely to want to stop such a lucrative programme.

I watched the first few series but got bored of it eventually. Was not helped by the decision to make the shows an hour every night - a dedication of time that is impossible to commit to for anyone that has better things to be doing! Not only that but it means it's padded out with really boring stuff. Even 30 minutes a night was a stretch.

I started watching a bit a couple of series ago when a lovely bloke - but complete fruitcake - who I used to go to college with showed up on it!

Maybe this will be the credit crunch Big brother a sort of CC BB. With job losses, beds being repossessed and the prize money invested in an Icelandic bank, maybe they will fill it with bankers and politicians and we can vote for the house to be blown up. Maybe there will be a life size portrait of Jade Goody in the lounge. Whatever they do they must not commit the cardinal sin of being bloody boring as it has for the last 4 years
