Actually what I find so refreshing is the lack of imagination and research of our fellow South Coast PL sides. It is good evidence of how far ahead TB is in his thinking; was on to RDZ way before anyone else had heard of the name. You sort of feel Saints and Bmuff have been wading around shouting 'anyone want a job', by comparison.

I assume Arteta's comments about Ben White are mentioned elsewhere.

'All credit to him. If you look at him and how far he has come, really only in the last two years'.

I take that as up yours Bielsa and up yours Leeds (although I might be reading too much into this).

Oh yes PLEASE! They'll be terrible while he gets their fitness up to the required levels for murder ball, great for about four months and then the whole league will suss how inflexible he is (again) and they'll implode. A standard Bielsa two or three years max before he gets the tin tack with PLB in mid table in the Championship.

Can you IMAGINE Solanke and Steve Cook playing Bielsa ball? :lolol:

Edited for you - looking at who most other clubs hire and fire, with managers merry go round-ing their way around PL clubs, I feel TB et al are perhaps the only ones truly succession planning (which is why one of the richest, most successful PL clubs is now effectively trying to just buy us in our entirety)

I'd love to see that in the hope he could get them to finish above Leeds.
It would create the ultimate meltdown at Elland Road. It's Marsch's worst nightmare.
In 19th and 20th places……. Or 18th and 19th would do.

I read that RDZ was on Southampton's list until we hired him. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was on others as well given his acclaim in Italy.
