BHA (8th) take on Hull at The Amex Saturday teatime in front of the cameras. Undoubtedly, the Seagulls will find themselves in a lower position than currently at kickoff, so 3 points is essential.
Albion will need to secure a first on Saturday if three points are secured - to beat a team at home who are in the top 7, which we have failed to achieve. Though we have only played Cardiff, Watford & Middlesborough at The Amex of the leading sides at the Amex currently.
Our record against The Tigers in Sussex, is excellent. Hull have only secured one win going back to 1965. Since then we have played 19 times in Brighton, winning 14, drawing 5, with no defeats!
After 30 league games in the last campaign we were on 48 points and 8th in the league. The current league total of 42 points is behind par, though the league position isn't!
Our home form of late is 11th in the league (last 6 games), averaging 1.50 goals scored, whilst Hulls away form (2nd) and averaging 2.33 goals, without any defeats is impressive.
If Albion are to win this one then surely we have to score first. It is now 74 consecutive league games since we went a goal behind & won a match - stretching back to Doncaster at home last season. Do we have the firepower & strength at defence?
As for the Score Predictor, we haven't been doing very well. In the last two away games, one correct score has been cast, out of some 300 scores predicted. Still, we can all win!
