BHA (7th) meet Blackburn (8th) at The Amex on Tuesday night. A win for the Seagulls & we could climb to 6th if Middlesbrough fail to beat Leeds at home on the same night. Somewhat unusually out of the top 12 teams (before yesterdays kick off) Albion were the only team to win!
Albions record against Rovers is won 10, drawn 8 & lost 11. We haven't beaten them in the last 3 outings & the previous win was back in 1991 in league 2, 1-0.
Let's not get carried away too much as we have secured less points than the corresponding fixture last year. After 31 games in the last campaign we were on 49 points & 9th. Crazy that this time around we could be 6th with 48 points!
At home in our last 6 games Albion are 10th in the form guide averaging 1.83 points a game, whilst Rovers are 6th in the Away league averaging 1.33 points in their last 6 matches.
Well played to the magnificent 9 who correctly predicted yesterday's score correct.
