Non season ticket holders who want to guarantee getting a home ticket against Leeds

will need to buy a mini package to avoid the scamble for what will be a sell out.

I wonder if some Leeds fans will consider it worth buying the package?

Good idea by the club and will be taken up big time if we continue in our current form and may even guarantee full houses on matches either side of the Leeds game against Bristol Rovers and Luton, both reasonably attractive fixtures anywy

Who's gonna buy one??

we won't this time but the last time we played at your place brighton sold me several tickets. they were one of the only clubs that let us do that and not be already registered in your system.

we have five ast now so no need.

The club need to act on that, there are enough Brighton fans who will want tickets for them not to have any need to sell tickets to anyone not already registered on the system. I think that they have always been a little lax on this as every time we play "big teams" there are always so many opposition fans in the home ends that it seems likely that there is no screening of ticket applications if tickets are available.

totally agree, i don't have a yorkshire postcode but it made no odds that we had never purchased a brighton ticket before to your ticket office. whereas if i try at many other clubs they say you have to already be in the system to purchase a ticket for a game v leeds.

ended up selling our brighton home end tickets because we didn't go and they all went to brighton fans.

Problem is that I believe our "system" runs on a ZX Spectrum :)

Fans are being given the chance to guarantee a seat for Albion's glamour clash against Leeds at Withdean next month.

Tickets are not on sale yet for the visit of Dennis Wise's side on October 20 but supporters can make sure of a place by buying into a three-match package.

The deal includes the home games against Bristol Rovers on October 6 and Luton on November 3 and represents a five per cent discount on normal matchday rates.

Prices in the centre of the South Stand are £70 adults, £47 OAPs and £43 under-16s.

In the South wings, East and South-East Stands, prices fall to £67, £44 and £40, with a student rate also available of £49.

An adult plus under-16 ticket in the family area for all three games costs £80, an adult and under-ten £70.

Leeds are threatening to still be unbeaten by the time they come to Withdean. They made it six wins from six with an ultimately comfortable 3-0 success at Bristol Rovers.

Jermaine Beckford scored twice and Tresor Kandol got the other, with two of the goals coming in the last 13 minutes.

There was even more late drama in the division's two other games.

Swansea scored twice in the last nine minutes to beat Carlisle 2-1 and new leaders Tranmere netted twice in the final seven to beat Luton. Albion are now sixth ahead of the trip to Gillingham.

How does your AST work, Starry?

You pay a premium to guarantee you tickets?

nope, no premium.

we pay face value of all away tickets at the start of the season and then leeds send them through as and when. we all have one this season so all guarantee a ticket for every away game. was something like £425 this season i think.

I was contemplating getting one of these but ends up saving an unmighty £1.17 per game which doesnt really sound like much of an incentive to buy them up front!

Playing snooker
Seventy quid for three games sadly puts it all into perspective..... :nono:

Will be a long, long time before I can justify the expense of travelling to, and watching live football again.
