A bit of a very nerdy one here guys but as we all love to moan about the men (and lady now) in the middle here is our record of the refs who have taken charge of our Premier League games over the past 7 seasons so we can really say who hates us the most ( Oliver, Hooper and Kavanagh probably take that honour), who is our lucky talisman (would appear to be Andy Madley, only 1 defeat in 11 games, so more of him next season please) and who is card happy (David Coote picking up that award with an av. of 2.64 cards per game).
Weirdly, and maybe thankfully based on the fact we have a terrible win% when they take charge, Michael Oliver and Chris Kavanagh despite reffing 24 and 20 Prem games this season respectively, never reffed us once! More of the same next season as well then please). Also never taking the whistle this season in our Lge games were Darren Bond, Graham Scott, Robert Madley, Thomas Bramall and any of the 6 newbies that made a rare appearance in charge.
The table shows our old friend now turned TV twat Mike Dean did turn out to be a bit of a Jonah as we only won 3 of the 15 games he took charge in and although we all remember the Stephens red card at Boro he only issued 1 red (after a 2nd yellow) and that was to Dunky at Bournemouth back in 2018.
Red card King is Kevin Friend with 4 but thankfully now retired so no more crap from him so Anthony Taylor with 2 is next in line as leader of straight red cards.
Our Prem Lge card count currently stands at 445 yellow, 15 straight red and 4 2 yellows=red with a 1.74 av. cards per game.
