Got £20 on Bayern to win 2-1, 11/1.

United are on a terrific away run in Europe but I feel tonight is the night that all changes. I was very impressed when watching them on Tv. They have 2 quality wingers in Robben and Ribery who I'm sure will cause Man united problems tonight. I'm expecting United to get a late vital away goal.
Hope I'm right.

God I hope you're right but I can't see it myself. Bayern's defence isn't great and with Robben out they're a little blunted up front.

However SOMEBODY has to take the rails off Manchester United before long. I really can't bear to see them in ANOTHER Champions League final.

I honestly think they are a fairly average team by their own standards. When you look at it on paper it's only Rooney and Vidic you could call true world beaters. I don't think the rest of their squad would walk into any team in the world like those two would.

Klose and Gomez on the bench is an interesting one, if youre Rio and Vidic surely youd feel comfortable handling Olic and Muller.

Unfortunately manure are incredibly resilient in these type of games. Robbens out, Ribery is barely fit. I think Utd will get a draw at worst.

Olic can be a real handful. Perhaps Bayern think the two big guys up front (Klose & Gomez) approach will be a bit too straight forward for Rio and Vidic. They tend to struggle more with mobile strikers than big strong target men...

Evra perhaps.

But I don't think Berbatov is even the player he was at Spurs and Ferdinand has had better days.

Sorry but I just don't think they're as good as everyone thinks they are.

Keep your money in your pocket - Bayern have a poor defence and the only good thing you can say about their goalkeeper is that he takes a good penalty.

Utd draw at the very least.

Exactly my point. I don't like Manchester United but credit where credit's due, they have produced some very decent teams over the years. This year however I don't think they are in the same league.

For me Barcelona are leagues above EVERYONE else left in the Champions League and if they don't win it again it won't be a better team who lifts the trophy
