Going to give The Station a go after the game. Can't bear the thought of the Crown & Anchor before AND after. What's quickest way, is it up that hilly road to the right outside the ground just before the railway tunnel? One of the few roads in Brighton I've never used. Does it take me anywhere near hove born n bred's council estate?

Yep, up there and then left across the bridge and along the unmade up path. Just follow the crowd. There shouldn't be a queue to cross the puddle today.
Unfortunately I am only in there pre-match today and can't make it after.

Can't promise you won't bump into HB&B, because that is the route which is only 195 burnt out car lengths from the estate.
