I fancied Chelsea to win last night and at half time at 0-1 they were offered by Coral at an outrageous 10/1 to win the games. A bet was obviously made by yours truly and I'm feeling rather pleased with myself !.

10/1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I am by no means a Chelsea fan but when Bridge riffled the ball into the corner with 4 minutes left me and Harold where dancying a tango.

Also please for Ranieri, his celebration said it all. I hope he wins manager of the year and sticks the trophy up the Rusky's bottom !.

In his position, I'd have resigned the day after Erikkson signed his contract with England, leaving them to find a new man at the most crucial stage of the season. That'd learn 'em!

I suspect that only the fact that he believes he can win League and European Cup have kept him there this long, and while I don't subscribe to the anti-Arsenal feelings which seem to pervade football, I was pleased for him yesterday. A model of dignity, working as he is for a board without a jot of class or loyalty.

He's a professional, I didn't expect him to actually do it Nelse old boy. Just what I would have done, to stick two fingers up at them.

It's only money! :p

It is just another example of people with lots of money being able to do just about anything they want and behaving in manner that would be totally unacceptable anyone else. I would think most decent Chelsea fans would tell the Risky to get lost if it not for his millions.

Ranieri has had the try and build a team that was miles off the pace of Arsenal and Man Utd to win the league with the threat of the sack and the fact he was very much second choice to Ericson ( even though he is a better manager anyway imho ).

This was always going to be a 2 season task and he is 2nd in te league in the1st year and the semi's of the euro cup !.

It seems the Rusky knows a lot about how to malke money from post communist Russia but has a hell of a lt to learn about loyalty and honesty and decency.

I truly hope Chelsea win the euro cup and league and then Ranieri will have offers from all over the world and can go to Abram and Kenyon :salute: .

I agree with what has been said about Ranieri's position, but how much of this is actually media talk? Nothing has been said by the club re his position and we don't really know what's going on behind the scenes
