Particularly when I was a student (early 1970's) TOGWT was mandatory viewing on a Tuesday Night - coming back early from the pub or breaking off from an Essay or whatever to the beer cellar.

But I think Jools beats it. Always interesting music, even if you don't like all of it, and interesting conversations and interviews from someone who knows what he is talking about in terms of music because he does it (very well) himself.

My all time favourite music review show has to be the interlude videos in Beavis and Butthead. The bit where Butthead explains why Radiohead's Creep is an allegory on life itself and the cut scenes where they practically orgasm during the guitar solos is just the best thing ever.

And of course dismissing the Cure as 'English music' still makes me laugh now.

I'm not joking about the Radiohead scene. This is what television was invented for.

What was that Rock and Metal show that was on in the early hours of a Friday night/Saturday morning. Presented by some long haired chappy from Kerrang ?

It was on around the same time as Hit Man & Her... used to see up the VCR religiously to record that.... happy days.:guitar: punk: :guitar:
