[Albion] Best Time To Play Everton?

I thought Everton played pretty well in the first half last Sunday - especially the first 20 mins or so. Walcott and Richardson looked very dangerous. Decent finishing could easily have seen them 3-0 up at half time. Don't know what happened at half time, but it was 100% different after the break. We could easily be caught cold if they're re-motivated on Saturday. They're at home, the crowd will be up for it, and we aren't great away from home. If we ship one early it could be a long afternoon....

Everything for us pivots on Mooy being fit to play. If he’s not then I expect us to come away with nothing. I’m going, I just hope for a better showing than last season.

Maybe, but Arsenal were playing badly and we beat them. Spurs were playing badly and we sent them packing. Bournemouth as well.

I’d rather be playing against a team playing badly. I think we have a great chance.

And Norwich. It’s kind of a thing people trot out on here without stats to majorly back it up. I thought it was just our negative element of fans but having viewed other forums they ALL have fans saying it’s ‘typical us’ to do this and that. It’s a universally trotted out and believed line from elements of nearly all clubs’ support!

The Scouse Seagulls will be hoping to witness their first ever Merseyside league win. In fact I don’t think we’ve actually seen Brighton win a match since Buckley bagged a brace against Huddersfield about six years ago. UTA.

We're all with you ! UTA

Anything could happen but it's a good time to play them after their loss to Klopp's Kids.

They have had some decent results recently and have some good players and manager.

No Mooy no party. Comfortable 2-0 win for Everton sadly.

Stephens needs to rediscover his form if we are to stand a chance if Mooy is out, which looks likely from today’s Argus article. It doesn’t read well for him being him next season either

Mooy or Stephens ?

Naylor's recent The Athletic article reads very well for Mooy being here next season, given that all official information on this is cloaked in a confidentiality clause.

Exactly. The idea that Everton are on a bad run is a myth. They have generally been playing well ever since they got rid of Silva but had a very bad second half against Liverpool, and everyone is overreacting.

Potter today says Webster and Montoya can play LB (as well as March and Bernardo ofc). Interesting stuff. Not even mentioning Bong.

If we're going full on 'typical Albion' then we'll win on Saturday.

That win will put us one more win away from looking up instead of over the shoulder.

That's the game the Albion will lose.

Yep, win this one then lose to Villa at home.

In fact I may have a bet on that.
