All this talk of BBC Sports Personality of the Year, makes me wonder what your best sporting moment of the year was (so far)

As far as I'm concerned, its been a fantastic year for the small ball games I follow - if not for the Albion.

Best MOMENT - undoubtedly the C&G victory. Because it should never have happened. It's up there with Adam Virgo's goal.

Best ACHIEVEMENT - the County Championship that Sussex deserved to win.

I've gone for the Ryder cup. Not because it was more special than Sussex winning for me. But Nationaly it's about the ONLY thing we've achieved.

Even though the County Championship was far more of an achievement, I went for the C&G Final.

A marathon is far more impressive than a sprint, but the way we fought for the title at Lords was truly breathtaking.

The atmosphere was immense and the players rose to the challenge.

I still can't believe the Lancashire supporters were complaining about the annoying "Good Old Sussex by the Sea", when you compare that to "Oh Lanky, Lanky, Lanky...."
