Loved the whole there's only one Norman Wisdom for the poor fella who was knocked out by a football. Your favourites??? Apparently the Oldham fans opposite us couldn't hear us and were singing all the way through. This is from a couple of mates who were in the stand. Bit like the attendance number I'm not so sure.

On another note good to meet a few nsc'ers for the first time at the game, cheers Yorkie et al.

My favs had to be the two Leon Knight songs. Obviously all the usual ones but as he scored two goals it made it a bit more special.

Poor old Norman Wisdom  Lancastrians still wearing their flat caps in 30 degs.

I think the acoustics are dulled (to the other stands) by the roof curving over which kept the noise in the stand. It made us sound loud to ourselves.

Oh Chris McPhee, Oh Chris McPhee,
When will you score us a goal or three...

'Leon scores toKnight' HAS to get adopted (if only for the hilarity-value of 'a-wumba-way, a-wumba-way')- what's all that gorilla-like grunting of LeonKnightKnightKnight about?

and, a la Bunley last season, 'You're just a town full of racists'.

Didn't the guy fall over when picking the poles up. I loved our response to the Oldham fans when they called us a bunch of gays.

He was picking some poles up but got hit by a football. Kuipers, the gent he is, made sure he was ok and put his flat cap back on for him but he looked very dazed!!

For the Brighton, the mighty Brighton,

Leon scores toKnight.

A top, top song.

surely that should be "the scorer's Leon Knight" ?

It is top though.

Agreed. 'Leon scores tonight' is just plain stupid for an afternoon game. A bit more work needed.

What was the response to the 'gay' chanting?
