Simply just name songs from an album which have not been released as a single.

My example: Give me Novacaine by Green Day from the American Idiot album

No offence but that song really didn't deserve to be released.

Id say

Life will be the death of me - Ordinary Boys - Brassbound

Whenever I've bought an album because of a particular single, I tend to find that I end up liking other tracks better than the singled one.

The current trend of downloading just the songs you want is going deprive people of hearing lots of music they wouldn't normally hear, just because tracks weren't brought out as singles and given airtime.

One too many mornings.....Bob Dylan.

And almost any other B.D. song from the early albums.

It was eventually released as a single in 1976 but Yesterday, off Help! by the Beatles has to be mentioned - not a single when it came out.

Just out of interest, why is that?
Not totally sure but I think it's because, with its new-fangled string quartet etc, it was too different to the usual guitars/bass/drums stuff that was normally pushed out as singles.

It was released as a single in America in 1965, but not in the UK.
