Back in the mid-1980s, I had a house extension designed for me by a company called Architectural and Interior Design Services.

When i worked in the comms centter at Amex back in the day, they introduced a new messaging system with the acronym AIDS. I didnt know the full name. Needed t speak to the head of the project, and called the USA.
Can I speak to Jim Petrone....
Sorry Who?
Jim Petrone, hes in charge of the AIDS project.
I dont that thats particularly amusing...

...and put the phone down.

A visit to the Broadway in Haywards Heath will lead you to businesses named Fine Baps and Funbags, located but a short stroll apart. This pleases me, obviously.

The SEETYRES ads in the Evening Anus back in the 1970s boldly stated:

There's a sandwich shop in Southampton (Bevois valley) called "Nice Baps".

And when IKEA opened in Southampton a few years ago now, the side of their building is clearly visible from the John Lewis Department Store restaurant. IKEA had a huge Billboard on the side of the building which bore the legend "Bet You Can't Get Swedish Meatballs in There!".

I've also seen a builders van: "Indian Builders - you've tried the Cowboys, now try the Indians."
