How can you say that when you entered The Junction?

Both awful pubs IMHO.

Not been there for many a year, but The Blackboys was a favorite watering hole in my youth.

Haven't really had a favorite pub since the North Star in Ditchling closed

Thread glassed and then kicked in the head whilst it's lying on the ground.

(Unless it's improved since I escaped from Lancing)

I hate that place! Some of the people in that joint are like extra's from Little Britain. Very cliquey too. The last time I was in there on a Sunday lunchtime, some old Colonel type kept commenting loudly to his pal that I was siting "on his stool" He then said to me: "why can't you sit over there?" I had planned on leaving, but I stayed for another pint and remained on "his stool"! Nah, most people in that place are as fake as the Tudor beams. Salon bar bore types.

I was agreeing that it is a shite hole. I was also being sarcastic about the Junction.

Definitely cliquey bit like NSC if your in your in.

Having said that a group of my mates were told once to keep our voices down one evening when we were pissed up. We ignored this and were asked to leave a few minutes later. still wnet back in the next week an no one said a word to us.

the clifton in Worthing has to be the worst pub with out a doubt.

That one near Tescos in Durrington isn't much better either.

The Shepherd and Dog - Fulking.

Thread herded up and penned in.

I had the misfortune to live in Fulking many years ago. Dead end hole and I didn't think much of the pub either - full of hoity toitys and day trippers! It has probably changed since then , but I wouldn't go back!

All depends what your looking for but the Three Moles at Selham is for me the best pub in Sussex finishing runners up in the National Camra Good Pub back in the 90's speaks for itself!

The White Hart at Stopham Bridge and the Rising Sun at Nutbourne both just outside Pulborough are another 2 excellent pubs!
Now theres a man with excellent taste. :drink:

I can't believe there is a better pub in Sussex than the Griffin Inn in Fletching.
