A tad over-rated.

I would go for the Norfolk Arms in Steyning. Any pub that has a rugby team run from the pub has got a lot going for it. And it's got a public and a lounge bar.

The Ram in Firle seems nice whenever I've been. Very good food and decent H in the Bull in Ditchling. Always loved mucking around in the boats at the Anchor in Barcombe.

Dandyman

In London village.
Gardeners Arms leaves everything looking rosey.

That was my father in laws watering hole - not the same since he's gone :(

Nearest pub to my Mum and Dads so used to get up there a bit when living at home would have been a good 6-7 years ago now though.

All depends what your looking for but the Three Moles at Selham is for me the best pub in Sussex finishing runners up in the National Camra Good Pub back in the 90's speaks for itself!

Also agreed with the Shepherd and Dog !

The White Hart at Stopham Bridge and the Rising Sun at Nutbourne both just outside Pulborough are another 2 excellent pubs!
