Good stuff the Mid Sussex area village walks or tours can be quite nice on a sunny day, not forgetting the number of nice villages with pubs.

Lewes can be nice on a sunny day, though been to the ground too many times, and shame about the towns council. when its nice and sunny in the summer, nice views of the South Downs etc.
