Out of 40 plus gigs and festivals last year I'd say Hot Chip and FFS.

Lamb of God at Birmingham 02 - two days after the Paris attacks which gave a very eerie/tense atmosphere especially when seeing a band called Lamb of God who are very anti-religion generally.

Totally owned that night and had the below light rig the night after the Paris attacks.

Went to very few but personal favourites were Father John Misty at Glastonbury and Tobias Jesso Jr at Dome Studio Bar (Great Escape).

Jesus & Mary Chain were superb. John Grant too, as always. The Maccabees make a Dome trilogy.

Then there was Super Furry Animals comeback in Brixton and I really enjoyed Built to Spill at The Concorde.

King Creosote at the Ropetackle last February was rather splendid.

My only Super Furry Animals experience 2015 was at Together The People where I felt they were rather below par.
