Posh end of Shoreham
As it's half term for the midweek game in Cardiff miss Soprano & myself are booking a room for the night and have a shortlist of
The Marriott
Maldron hotel or The Sleeperz hotel
I've checked and all three are within 30 mins walk from the ground after the game
Could anyone whose stayed overnight in Cardiff tell me the best one to chose from or is there any better hotels I should check out , thanks for any help
(I'm really looking forward to getting away for a short BRAKE )

I hope they did not steal all the shampoo.

All I remember is that Bristol City got in first with the "lucky" hotel (Vale of Glamorgan, I think), that both teams wanted because the winning teams the previous year had all stayed there.

The Albion ended up with the second choice, St David's. On the plus side, they'd have been nice & close to all the city centre pubs when heading out to celebrate post match.

I remember Dean Wilkins was staying there too with his family and came over for a few drinks before the match. Not sure in what capacity he was there other than to watch the game. Its all a bit of a distant haze now to be honest but was a great day out.

We found some pit in the city centre for £25. Not sure what it will be like but looking forward to finding out and spending time and money in the city rather than the hotel room (since not going with a female) :/

Anyone know good place for a couple of quiet(ish) friendly drinkies before the game?
