comfortably numb.......... pink floyd live

Whenever we have this conversation, this seems to always come out on top. As an ex-guitarist, I'm sure I could add plenty of others, Garry Moore was always one of my favs, so I guess I'd put Parisienne Walkways up there.

Every, what, 2-3 months this topic crops up on here? And the answer still remains the same: Larry Carlton on the Crusader's "Spiral".

Not the best (I'm not the man to jdge) but was very struck by this the other day. Bit of background music on House. I hadn't heard it before - I guessed it might be Snowy White, Mrs TRHK thought it felt like early Carlos Santana, turns out to be Funkadelic.

One of my favourites - the much maligned Gary Moore:

That is a good solo, as is the phase bit in Made of Stone...

My 2 personal favourites right now are the second half of Sweet child o Mine, and also a live version Communication Breakdown - both wah wah based. Tomorrow i'll have different ones, such is the nature of guitar solos

Stone Roses - The riff towards the end of Resurrection is my personal fave.

Thanks Greens :(
"The Spirit Of Radio" - Rush.

This = 11/10 :thumbsup:

Also, the Richie Sambora segue between acoustic and electric guitar on the show-stopping 'Wanted Dead or Alive...' that closes most BJ gigs :ohmy:
