Best Exchange Rate?

Best place I've found for Thai Baht so far is M&S...anybody got any suggestions for best rates? Exchange here or upon arrival?

Coin exchange on ship street is very good and only trade in cash.

I've just bought £500 worth of South African Rand in advance of next March's Shropshire over 50's cricket tour to Cape Town - M&S had best rate at 13.49

Rand is seasonal and always strengthens against the pound until our Summer time - should mean I get £100 for free spending if the rate drops to 11 by next March !!

Don't bother changing any over here you will be lucky if you get 66, there will be loads of exchanges when you get to the airport in Bangkok. Thats what we always do.

i have looked on the internet this morning
and at the moment you are getting 70 + over there
its always better to excange in the country you are visiting
pl;eny of places in the airport to exchange

The rate is rubbish at the moment, the baht goes with the US dollar. So lets hope that the £ picks up against the dollar and we could be back up to 70.

Always change your money in Thailand but the best way is to have a Nationwide Flex account and then all your ATM withdrawals are free and are at the bank exchange rate.
Or even better be like me and have a Thai bank account.

I've always found that using my Nationwide card in the atms abroad get me veery decent rates.
