Obviously a lot to cover but would generate more Albion threads.

I have had a stab based on players I have seen. I am mid-40s. Let’s be honest pretty much all of the best would come from the current set up because these players are different level to what we have had before so I have cheated a bit and down it in comparison to their peers at the time. So who simply stood out as different class.

Penalty taker - Pedro (or Alexis)
Finisher - Zamora
1 on 1 defender - Lawrenson (who I only remember from Liverpool so cheating here)
Free kick taker - curl - carpenter (shout out to Watson)
Free kick taker - power - kazenga Lua lua
1 on 1 attacker - Mitoma
Dribbler - knockaert (it is obviously Mitoma but that season in the champ the petite magician was incredible)
Long range passer - dunk
In the air - Duffy
Long range shooter - lua lua (I can’t really think of one)
Ball control - Vicente or Bissouma
Positioning - Murray - scored so many goals for someone who could not really run. Or dunk.

Added another couple
Tackling - caicedo last season was a joke.
Fittest - gross

Penalty Taker: Nobby Horton - literally never missed and most of them actually burst through the goal net

Dribbler: Peter Ward - regularly left 3 or 4 defenders on their arses as he twinkled through to score again
