I'm going old school, this was the song that started my love of R&B based rock back in 1964, thankyou Stones!
It's live and raw but none the worse for it.

It’s the rawness that makes it.
I love how the guitar line gradually creeps up in the background

The production just has this indescribably evocative feel to it. So good.

That and Merry Clayton's sensational vocal performance shade it for me ahead of Stray Cat Blues and Jumping Jack Flash.

Not a big fan (saw them live in the Mick Taylor era, and they were rubbish) but did some good songs. Brown Sugar for me - great single. Sympathy for the Devil next best, also pretty good. Quite happy to bin the rest.
