was originally the b-side - the first pressing has 'what the world is waiting for' on the sleeve, and on the a-side - but from second pressing onwards (i.e. second week of release onwards) it was 'fool's gold', as Silvertone Records quickly realised they had an enormous hit on their hands.

If you are a Jackson Browne fan, you might know of the song 'Redneck Friend', which is a song that refers to his penis. I once informed a girl this, who was a big fan of Browne. Most upset with me, she was - and wasn't having any of it (not even a couple of inches)
