I was always fond of the shortlived...

"Oh Colin Pates,
We are his mates,
Oh Colin Pates we are his mates..."

Also the Kuipers "former Dutch Marine (chef)" ditty is a classic.

1. I cant believe how many people are missing the point of the thread and just listing songs which have nothing to do with a player.

2. Why did it take so long for FDM's song to be mentioned. 'In a town where I was born, Lived a Man who sailed the Seas, He was Big and he was Dutch and he didnt let in much...

3. By Era, in my time going. Withdean is between FDM, Bobby Z and OGH, The first two were pretty unique at the time and was gutted we adopeted a really crap song for Bobby on his return. The Amex Era, Big Fan of Dunk, Duffy and Conner Goldsons songs, however for the memories it has to go to Knockeart.

Started watching Albion in the mid-80s, and used to like going through the repertoire for each player in the current squad as they came out just before kick off until they waved to the north stand.

I like the Sidwell one and it was a great treat to sing it again when he was commentating at half time on the pitch at the Watford game I think it was.

Also like the Knocky song, catchy.

But the one that gave me the goose bumps was always the "We're going up" song.

OGH in the Withdean era.

Either Adam El Abd or Bissouma since we moved into the Amex.

----

The correct answer is obviously the only song that seems to have outlasted the player's career - We all live in a Wardy wonderland.

It would if I remembered it during the Wardy days. I don't recall ever hearing it till the Muzza version.
