The Grockle
Formally Croydon Seagull
Fair point, they were phenomenal. But they don't have a creative genius like TT do, so I wouldn't say they were as good.
Sorry TCB I don't mean to be rude but are you teapot?

I wasnt really a fan at the time but i saw them at Reading three years ago and they were immense.
rem, happy mondays, oasis, blur, manic street preachers, belly, the cure (mk4)

Nirvana or Radiohead
Another vote for pearl jam. Saw them a couple of times in the 90s and they were awesome.
Also Faith No More.
Struggling to pick one but Blur, The Charlatans, Oasis, Radiohead and Nirvana would be my choices off the top of my head..
Er, Take That?
Eight number ones in the decade and the defining track in Back For Good. Doubt anyone can better that cv.
My mate, who is also an Albion Season ticket holder but doesn't post on NSC, is a PEARL JAM FANATIC! He goes all over the world to see then (about 10 times a year!)
I have never seen them (being a Black Eyed Peas / Greenday man myself - saw them both this year ) would I be right in thinking they are a grunge band?
