Zinedine Zidane had gone for the number 1 look by the end of his career. Surely he'd be the de-facto number 10 in the team. Lombardo can shift to number 7 where he played for Sampdoria. Steve Agnew and Clive Walker?

William Prunier, the centre back who played a couple of matches for Man United in their 2nd double season after being recommended to Fergie by Eric Cantona. He played in a 4-1 defeat at White Hart Lane on New Year's Day and was never seen again. He was a proper baldy.

Has anyone mentioned Carsten Jancker yet?
