Best Away Day Pub

Reading throught that thread on best away day experience, what have been peoples best away day pub (cue Market Porter).

The Blue Parrot on Saturday was good, but probably the Lincolnshire Poacher in Nottingham for me.

Cherry Trees at Peterborough is always a laugh.

There is only one pub on away days, I thought everyone knew that.

The Robert Peel at Kingstonian was another good one. Shame about the result that day though 3 strippers and a cheap bar what more could you ask for

The Ancient Forresters at Millwall.

The Brunswick in Derby was excellent - great range of real ales at good prices and good grub.

Forest this season - The Larwood & Voce - took off their real ales - what sort of a pub does that on match day

Why does everyone bang on about the MP - true the beer is excellent as is the location but inside it's pretty dingy.

The Brunswick is indeed a great boozer, went there on the way home from Port Vale this season.

Had a cracking session in the Larwood and Voce after Sussex won the Championship in September.

I take it thats sarcastic, thats not even the best pub in that street.

The Early Doors at Mansfield or the Flying Scotsman for anywhere up north.

It certainly has but the FC is just fantastic isn't it?

Some very good choices on here, although the Parrot's combination of ale, atmosphere and live entertainment is always hard to beat. I know a number of people would give a shout for The Parcel O' Beef in Tranmere and it will be interesting to see if it lives up to it's reputation.
