personally i would class the pixies as an 80's band. they were big whilst the smiths were still about.

Red Hot Chilli peppers have been going since the 80's as I watched a documentery on them they had a band member die of a overdose in 1988. But they had their better hits in the 90's onwards. But I am surprised they are in there

fully agreed with this i have to vote Prodigy as they are the only rave based band the music shaped the 90s
