what ground that you have been to has had the loudest acoustics .
Old stands like Kenilworth Road, Roots Hall or London Road always sound amazing. Not sure how much of that sound escapes the low roof though or whether it's just deafening underneath it.
Which reminds me. I really want to go and see us at Roots Hall and Kenilworth Road again!

If we are looking at all-round acoustics, can I put in a plea for some sound-absorbent cladding on the walls of the North Stand concourse? The current echoing chamber makes it almost impossible for me to have a conversation in there - and my hearing problem is nowhere near as bad as some people have.Amex

I'm always amazed by the sound when Stoke score at home. (And rather pissed off, of course)
