I really don't like parking at the Bridge - it's very aggravating trying to leave and the air is terrible with all the fumes. It's not fun if you're waiting.

But I don't think there are any easy answers. I've tried almost everything we can think of - several dedicated coaches, all of the park and rides, parking at Lewes, Three Bridges, Polegate, the lay-by on the A27, every car park offered by the Albion, parking in various parts of Brighton, going by train from home. None of them are great - depending on the weather and luck.

This year one of my children starts at University, living right by the stadium in the Falmer Campus - and so trying to park there might be an option (but I bet they've thought of that). In reality my plan this season is not going until I see what things are like - I don't want to wear a mask (sorry), and I don't want to annoy others, so I'm planning to stay away until things calm down.

No mask whilst in your seat watching football (or eating and drinking elsewhere)

So on average how long to exit Bridge if you leave on the final whistle?

It really depends on when you got in and how close to the exit (also the entrance) you were able to park.

It becomes a bit of a free-for-all as everyone tries to edge their way to the magical exit.

And, as Lamie indicated, it can take longer to walk back there due to the sheer volume of people going the same way.

I guess if you were in the West or North and legged it as soon as the final whistle blows and jog your way back down to the car park, assuming you’re ahead of the crowd, you could probably make quite a swift getaway.

I reckon they should open the park and ride at sainsbury's west Hove. It was an absolute dream to use when they have used it in the past

Same for me but, the 'Sold Out' tab for Leicester is greyed out. It says 'No Parking is available for Leicester City'. I took that to mean they haven't gone on sale yet.

Edit: Just seen later replies.

As I will not leave early and am not up for running back to the car anymore, does anyone know if the councourses will be available as they were in pre-covid times? I do not want to sit an hour or more in the Bridge Car Park.

What is abundantly clear is that there will be considerably more people using P & R - let's hope the club realises this and tries to ensure that there are more busses than has been the case.....

Does anyone know why the Uni car parks are not available for Watford and Everton games? It can't just be BF displacement, can it?

Makes sense to fill the (Albion owned) Bridge car park first, the see what’s needed at the (rented) University.

They were both pretty full all of last season. Don't see the sense in that. And it becomes a game of chicken, waiting to see if or when the Uni comes on sale. Crap on a stick.

Or maybe they are still negotiating with the Uni, council, trains and Buses for more capacity.

The Bridge car park is currently showing as SOLD OUT for both Watford and Everton, and that no parking is available for the Leicester match...
