If Oatway was given a drugs teat after the game he would have failed it before dropping his jokeys!

Probably the best game Iv seen him play and it was against a very good midfield opposition.

Oatway kept Friio so quiet I had difficulty in believing he was on the pitch.
He did the same job on Merson last season.

the football genius continues to support BEN ROBERTS the expertise and experience at the high level and the quick thinking he dores to get his defenders particularly cullip out of jail with e.g. a stupid backward header sjows he is a class above the clown of a former cook on a boat, keep playing the FOOTBALLER KEEPER in goal NOT the clown of a cook

Posts so far are 33-25 in favour of Kuipers, so it's obviously a fairly close thing (must be about 60-70% for FDM?)

I just feel Roberts sweeps better, and keeps the game moving, which benefits us in an attacking sense. Granted, he has some stupid moments, but these seem to be of judgement rather than ability, unlike Kuipers (Watford/P'boro/Lincoln)
If he can just cut out the silly periods (which I think he is-noticeably less dribbling out), he can be comfortably the better keeper, although FDM will always be an Albion legend

That's settled it, then. Kuipers for 'keeper.

Roberts and Kuipers are both quality keepers at this level. Roberts is yet to have a run of more than 10 games in the side as he has been injured when starting to settle. While I think Kuipers played a major part in our two championships he is currently injured. What good does it do to constantly criticise Roberts. He may have made a mistake on Saturday, I haven't seen a replay but it looked like he slipped or lost his footing for their goal. However, he played well otherwise and if that had been Kuipers then people would have ignored the goal and said how well he did for the rest of the match. I think if Roberts is given time he will start to show the form we know him capable of after last seasons loan.

Kuipers is so finished that Taylor would sign him to a contract at Hull in a flash.

Roberts pulled off some great saves on Saturday. But forgetting the simple fact that he has a goal line nearly cost us dear. Off his line for the header, although only marginally, and (very) nearly lobbed in the second half.

Neither are perfect. But Kuipers just wins it for me.

had kuipers made thta mistake on saturday everyone would've blamed the back 4 or said it was bad luck. the fact is the amount of crosses they were getting in from there left wing was a joke - but i suppose its roberts fault that those were coming in. i also guess it was roberts fault that dave lee came on, that benjamin got injured and that the linesman couldn't keep up with play. hell, lets blame ben roberts for everything!

I think you're exaggerating a little there. Although that substitution did bring the best chant of the game:

"David Lee, oh David Lee,
You must be shagging Mark McGhee..."

At the start of the season i was all for Ben cos after his terrific loan spell i thought he was the better all round keeper but after a decent start he's gone down hill and makes to many mistakes and dosent seem 2 make the great stops the FDM makes.yer kuipers has got his faults but there's no competition for me kuipers is the man.
